This is a waste of good money. With clothes and shoes you will not know their exact sizes. So it’s better to avoid buying such gifts.
You must always remember whatever gift is given, never leave the price tag on it. It will cause unnecessary embarrassment both to the couple as well as the well-wisher. Always double-check that the price tag is removed.
You might think it would be good to give them handkerchiefs. Some people have superstitious beliefs that a good friendship will break if you give handkerchiefs. So no matter how pretty it is try not to choose it as a wedding present for them.
As far as possible do not gift them fresh flowers. It’s a waste of money. The bride would have had her fill of her choicest flowers at the wedding and the reception.
If you are giving a gift it should be worth the money you spend and also be useful to the couple. So avoid these gifts that don’t have any value and select something different.
